No person may advertise or state to the public, or to any tenant directly or indirectly, that the tax imposed by this chapter or any part thereof will be assumed or absorbed by that person, or that it will not be added to the charge, or that it will be refunded; nor may any person assume, absorb, or fail to separately state the tax to the tenant unless otherwise specifically authorized by this chapter.
