15.10.080 Use of local Sitka Spruce allowed in one- and two-family dwellings.

Ungraded, locally manufactured Sitka Spruce lumber may be used in the construction of one-story and two-story dwellings and accessory buildings. The following values shall be used in determining the structural adequacy of member sizes:
Fb single use = 800 #/sq. in.
Fb repetitive = 925 #/sq. in.
Ft = 475 #/sq. in.
Fv = 75 #/sq. in.
Fc_ = 435 #/sq. in.
Fc = 825 #/sq. in.
