A. Provisions of administrative, investigative, research and similar services to the planning and zoning commission, parks and recreation committee, local emergency planning committee, city councils, tribal councils, and assembly related to capital improvements, zoning, transportation, land management, and land use planning, including coordination with other governmental agencies in the development of departmental programs;

B. Administration of the planning and zoning of the borough;

C. Completion of surveys, maps, plans, and reports as directed by the manager or the planning and zoning commission;

D. Review of applications for and completion of recommendations on zoning changes, variances, appeals, conditional use permits, real property matters, and all other matters submitted to the planning and zoning commission; and

E. Other activities as necessary or appropriate to the exercise of the planning, zoning, coastal management, oil spill contingency plan, emergency management planning, and land management functions of the borough.
