A. The off-street parking requirements, parking area development standards, and off-street loading requirements of this chapter, with the exception of KIBC 17.175.080(I), do not apply to land use activities and structures located in remote areas.

B. For purposes of this section, a “remote area” is defined as an area not located on, or adjacent to, the contiguous road system of the city of Kodiak or the villages of Akhiok, Larsen Bay, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie, Port Lions, and Karluk.
